I've been complaining about questionable design decisions throughout this quest, but now I've reached an area with a fairly annoying mechanic that doesn't really work properly, and my reaction is a mix of annoyance and "eh... yeah, I get it, I want to put this in BA3 too even though it won't work there either". Sometimes you've just gotta do the cool thing even though the program kind of sucks and it doesn't lead to a good gameplay experience.

Or I guess you could always not do that, but that means giving up on a cool concept.
