Paul Gilbert/Racer X - Scarified (End String Skipping Section)
0Playing this on an 8 string is not ideal! especially when you have stubby sausage fingers like me!
Back on Paul Gilbert's Scarified tonight, this time is the bastard String Skipping section at the end. Re-Learning this by ear so chances are i'm not playing it right but it sure is fun!
Ah the obligatory Scarified video, everyone's done one right? Playing this song is almost a rite of passage among guitarists and it's a song that absolutely plagued my teens. Many hours of my life have been wasted on this one.
Attempting to improve my long neglected playing once more by relearning some shredy wankery in the early hours of the morning. Expect more practice shorts like this as it encourages me to keep playing.
I'm not convinced YouTube is the right medium for these videos as i usually upload these to Facebook, lets see how they go!
