A full playthrough of the basic version of "Pavlov's House" from DVG Games, designed by David Thompson. This is the digital version of the boardgame and is played on PC. The digital adaptation was done by Bookmark Games.

Pavlov's House is set during the Battle of Stalingrad and is the first of (so far) four games in the series "Valiant Defense," all of which have (again so far) been published by Dan Verssen Games and designed by David Thompson. This is a solitaire game with the player running the defense of the apartment building known as "Pavlov's House" (named after the man who captured it from the Germans and who was a key part of the defense of the building for 52 days before the Red Army pushed the Germans back and relieved the defenders). The game system controls the attacking Germans who approach the building along six different paths in a manner somewhat reminiscent of the States of Siege series of games created by Darin Leviloff.

The digital adaptation's mechanics and look and feel do a good job of emulating the board game and the digital components appear identical to the physical components of the board game.

The game is available on Steam and the physical boardgame is available from Dan Verssen Games on dvg.com

As always, thanks for watching. Please like, share & subscribe if you would - that would be greatly appreciated.

Happy gaming!
