After the Desync Beta being open for almost a month. Overkill decided that the beta is a success and released it as Update 150.0. However, there is a dark side to this update. Mods that fix desync(like VeloSync and Adaptative Resync) are broken(or really unstable). Also, the Desync open beta includes a new LUA system known as LuaJIT. LuaJIT was a system created to improve the games overall performace(more FPS and less processing stutters). Unfortunately, LuaJIT will force any BLT mod to be disabled until the BLT is updated to support it. Here's the catch, the original author of the BLT has no plans to update it for a very long time and someone on redit managed to update the BLT that support the LuaJIT system but, the user was still tinkering with it because it has some bugs and other weird side effects. Luckily, Overkill did not release the LuaJIT system in Update 150.0. When Overkill is ready to launch the LuaJIT, they say they'll make the transition as smooth as possible. Then again, LuaJIT could kill BLT modding if someone who knows the game code very well doesn't update it. On a side note, Sony Music of Japan claimed my "Payday 2 Hoxton Breakout Deathwish Part 2" video because they say that they own the song "Keep On Keeping On". The worst part is that they misrepresented the claim. The email I got from Youtube said that my video would be only blocked in Japan. Then SME JPN decided to be more aggressive and block my video in 6 countries(including U.S, Japan, and South Korea). The claimed video was uploaded somewhere else(a website that is like this one but more creator friendly and not mostly regulated by buggy robots). The weird part is that Sony Music of Japan dropped the claim against my video(Payday 2 Hoxton Breakout Deathwish Part 2). Only after a few days later, they reinstated the claim. No, I will not get in a dispute with Sony Music of Japan because it would be a waster of my fucking time and I don't know how to write nor read in Japanese. Keep in mind that I only upload video because it's my hobby and any song I feature in my video is fair use(#Where's the Fair Use and #WTFU)(Keep in mind that the U.S. Copyright is expiring in around October 2018 and multimedia companies are so fucking desperate to claim any song they can find even if it means that they don't have proof that they own a song in particular because it is a mystery of who is the original copyright holder). Oh I forgot to mention, the song "Keep On Keeping On" was never copyrighted for years until April 2017. What changed that? Either YouTube/Google is making deals(or trusts) with multi-media companies so YT can keep their shitty streaming service or multi-media companies(like Sony Music of Japan, UMG, EXIT TUNES, and many more) secretly hate modders that mod their song into a videogame(or add it as a track in a User MP3 radio station like in the GTA series) and will go out of their way to treat them like a criminal. Either way, it's bad and most of the blame can go to YouTube's really bad Content ID system(so bad that a single individual can exploit it).
