Payday 2 Sync Issues between Windows and Linux players (Update 174 Bug - Now fixed)
This isn't even funny anymore. Actually, it wasn't funny to begin with.
The VR Update for Payday 2 broke the syncing between player movements, as well as deploying...deployables between the host and the people in the lobby. The only fix was to join the lobby in progress once it had gone loud. If you were stealthing car shop with friends however, then overkill just gave a screw you motion in your direction, and you couldn't see your friend move around.
The syncing issues was fixed a day later in U174.1, which added in the necessary files for the Linux Version, making the update 97MB, instead of the 5MB that the Windows version received. The announcement for U174.1: http://steamcommunity.com/games/218620/announcements/detail/2504438196642792607 Doesn't mention the Linux version in any capacity. There's no mention of the game breaking, or any acknowledgements that the port was broken. Can you see why I'm frustrated yet with the lack of communication?
On a similar note, please remove the SteamOS icon from the VR DLC for Payday 2, as it's already confusing as it is. VR isn't (read: very unlikely) supported on the Linux port, and you've also made zero indications in the recent announcement for the VR DLC that it wasn't Linux Compatible. The sooner you acknowledge us, the less me and others with complain. Funnily enough, the Linux port isn't as dead as you seem to think it is Overkill, so suck it up, and treat everyone the same.*mic drop.*
