PBR Battle 50: Yet another team change
0And......here it is. Actually, I had this backup in the works since Salamence had started being suspect tested. And this was a pretty good debut, I must say. Moveset-wise, it's pretty similar. But it actually plays a little differently, and I think it fits the team better.
Namely, its typing offers some key resistances, which gel very well with the others. Bronzong in particular dislikes Water types, but to Kingdra they're perfect set-up fodder. Most can't even touch him, and with screens, can't even hope to break his subs.
Other notes on this battle, I didn't quite know what to expect from Drapion, but after it got those boosts, I thought better to Explode first and ask questions later. I also lol'd at Drifblim trying to pull Kingdra into a "my Sub is bigger than your Sub" contest, but even that couldn't save it.
One more thing, Courtyard Colosseum is rarely seen, (for a good reason) which is a shame, since it's actually a pretty good looking place with nice music.
