However, in this episode of Pokémon strategies, I use Elekid. This series shows how good a Pokémon can do in battle. Elekid has Thunderbolt, Psychic, Light Screen and Signal Beam.
Thunderbolt is STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) on Elekid, Psychic would sweep against Poison and Fighting types, Light Screen is good and allows Elekid to take less damage from Special Moves, good against Special Sweepers.
Signal Beam is great against Grass and Dark types, Elekid can learn Signal Beam on Platinum. I have EV Trained his Special Attack and Speed and he has a Rash Nature (+ Special Attack and - Special Defense). I can even do Double Battles as well, so you can put the names of one or two Pokémon to use in the next episode.
