In this episode, I use Barboach. All my opponents are NU and UU except for Gabite. Even though Barboach is an un-evolved Pokémon, he was able to take on the NU and UU Pokémon. Barboach has Surf and Earth Power, both are STAB moves, Barboach learns Earth Power from Platinum. Ice Beam is good against Dragons and Protect is quite good in Double Battles, also good if you don't want the Pokémon to get hit. I have EV Trained Barboach in Speed and Special Attack, he has a Naive Nature (+Speed and -Special Defense). I would have gone for Modest or Timid as good natures.
My opponent used: Magcargo, Aggron, Gabite, Magnezone, Torkoal and Donphan
