A tourist from California in the USA, George Stobbart, visits the capital of France - Paris and unexpectedly witnesses a terrorist attack on one of the cafes triggered by a mysterious clown in which an innocent man died, and a waitress among the wounded. Soon after, he meets the local journalist Nicole Collard there and begins a private investigation with her. The tracks lead the two to the mystery of the Templars and become the beginning of a journey during which they will visit a number of places in Europe and the Middle East. In 2009, the "Director's Cut" edition was released, containing additional stages of the game and improved graphics.
