PC - Broken Thunder - Full Run
48Here is a full run of Broken Thunder on PC inluding cutscenes! It took me a while to figure out how to capture this game with all the cutscenes on a modern machine, but here it is, enjoy, Broken Thunder in its full glory!!! Note that there are 2 different introduction cutscenes in this game, only the music differ though, but I've included them both in this video. The 2nd introduction is at the end of the video.
This game is actually super hard to finish so pardon my use of Cheat Engine on this one as I'm out of practice.
For those who don't know about Broke Thunder, here is a little background: Broken Thunder is an unofficial sequel to Thunder Force V/Revival of Thunder Force VI on the Dreamcast. The games uses a remixed version of the soundtrack from Thunder Force VI Dreamcast composed by Hyakutaro Tsukumo of Tecno Soft fame. The soundtrack is absolutely superb but the game is unfortunately so-so despite a very promising introduction. Not the worst game on PC but hardly a worthy Thunder Force entry. The soundtrack on its own makes it an interesting purchase if you can actually find a copy of the game. This and R720 from SEGAGAGA on the Dreamcast + the 2 OSTs produced by Hyakutaro Tsukumo are probably the best we'll ever see from the unreleased Thunder Force VI on the Dreamcast.
