100Polling is one of the aspect of gaming peripheral that we look upon to, however, a lot of measurement out there does not look into details how they actually perform.
This video I'll go deeper into polling rate, and measure across all of my game controllers from old to new and rate it across the board. Data of measurement also provided for everyone to examine.
With gaming mouse and keyboard have up to 4000Hz wireless and up to 8000Hz wired, game controller is far behind in latency performance. Reaching 1000Hz almost an impossible feat for many game controller in the market despite the device is specifically design for gaming.
Test setup in this video is done on Bluetooth 5.2 Intel Wifi Pro and Ryzen 5800H.
