95Hey PC Enthusiast,
Do you love building computers? Are you ready for a challenge? Join us at the Newegg Hybrid Center for our next PC Speed Build contest. The fastest build under 12 minutes will win the complete computer system! There will be raffle prizes and goodie bags for everyone attending our event and a pair of BlizzCon tickets for a lucky attendee. For those of you who can't make it, we will be live streaming this event and there will be prizes for our live stream viewers as well.
Spots are limited so come early.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, an Entrant must visit the Newegg hybrid center and register on the Contest signup sheet. The signup sheet will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit: One (1) Entry per person during the Contest Period. An Entrant must be present when called to participate or Entrant will forfeit Entrant’s turn. Entrants may be requested to provide some basic personal information for notification purposes in the event they are determined to have won a prize in the Contest.
Schedule:
Noon to 12:30 p.m. – Sign ups, meet and greet
12:30 p.m. - Speed build begins / Live stream starts
2:30 p.m. - Speed build ends
2:45 p.m. - Winner is announced and final raffle.
3 p.m. - Event ends

There will be an intermission in between each session. Online attendees will be directed to our eventbrite post to enter for prizes.

Contest Rules.
One entry per person. Build must be completed under 12 minutes or the fastest time of the day. Fastest time of the day wins.
a. Mount the motherboard I/O shield, then mount the motherboard in the case with 9 screws.
b. Only connect the power cable from case to motherboard
c. Install the PSU and secure with 4 screws.
d. Connect the 2 PSU power connectors to the motherboard.
e. Remove rear panel PCI brackets and install the video card. Connect the PCI-Express power connector and secure the card with 2 screws.
f. Install both memory DIMMs to the DDR3 slots on the motherboard.
g. Install the SSD and secure with 4 screws or mounting piece.
h. Connect power & data cables to the SSD.
i. Re-install case side panels and secure all thumb screws.
j. Connect monitor to VGA card and keyboard and mouse to USB ports.
k. System must boot to BIOS.
