Please remember your masks. That is all! XOXOXOXO

First and foremost, when you show up on Saturday, please make sure you have the following essentials with you: masks, water, snacks, back pack, battery chargers (i may have to borrow someones) and comfortable "walking, dancing, marching shoes). Throughout the event, please use #IStand4Change for your social media posts.

We will have water at the beginning and at the end. Hand sanitizer stations will also be avaiable.

THE EVENT TIMELINE:

We will gather on the steps of the County Administration Building at 10:00am.

10:00am - Program to start
11:00am - March to Hillcrest
1:00pm - Ending at Pride Flag

I am securing some amazing speakers and entertainment.

THE ROUTE:

After the rally, we will proceed to Ash, make a left on Sixth Street and a right on University Ave, then a left on Normal.

Please join me in a peaceful, prideful, protest march for equality. Our country is in need of love and healing. I am calling on everyone to help and support this movement.

We will start at the County Administration Building and make our way to Hillcrest ending at the Pride Flag.

After a brief ceremony the march will reverse course and end back at the County Administration Building.

Please wear a mask. We will also obey all traffic laws and use sidewalks.

I am asking that everyone bring a mask with them for COVID-19 safety. I will provide two handsanitizer stations at the steps of the County Administration. I will also have some mask and gloves available. First come - First served. But if you can, please bring your own.

I am humbled and overwhelmed by the support of the San Diego community.

UPDATE:

This event will be livestreamed. I will post the link on Saturday in the discussion area of this page. For all our friends and supporters that are unable to attend, you can watch it live. Thank you Nick Oehlberg for filming the event.
