138Few would have expected the popular WWE star John Cena to feature in the DCEU, but with the 2021 film The Suicide Squad we saw the first of him as the anti-hero Peacemaker. The character was loved by the fans and prompted James Gunn to give him his own series, and it became a massive streaming success. Now, after three years, it is time for season 2, and the newly released trailer has everything in it to keep us excited. Of course, a lot has changed for DC films as a whole since 2021, and the most interesting part of the trailer was John Cena’s Christopher Smith coming face-to-face with another Christopher Smith, possibly indicating a multiversal angle.
