Peachette. The controversy started from the whole Toadette
using the super crown to turn into Peachette thing from the New Super Mario Bros Deluxe U trailer in the Nintendo Direct. It spawned Bowsette and raised the question of what the heck is up with this super crown? MatPat from The Game Theorists and Lockstin from Gnoggin both made videos on Peachette/Bowsette trying to explain the whole thing. They went into the whole idea of the Mushroom Kingdom being similar to that of a bee hive...but there is one problem. Mario, Bowser, and Peach live in the MUSHROOM Kingdom.
