Hi Aspiring Artists!
This is the first episode of my new series Random Ink! This show will be all about ink, and me practicing using any ink-related medium.
In this video I'm using a very simple, non fancy Pilot V7 Pen. I wanted to start simple. I'm sketching one of my speakers, it's great for practicing straight lines, and observing angles.
I'm using some crosshatching for the darker areas (darker colors as well as shadowed areas).
Hopefully this new format of separating the channel into mini-series will be good. I want to touch on different mediums in the future, including dip pens and even black markers.
Quick question - do you prefer narration, or this music + captions format?
