Today was the ribbon cutting for the brand new Penguin Point habitat at the Roger Williams Park Zoo! I was so lucky to be invited to witness this great event, welcoming 12 Humboldt Penguins into their brand new habitat at the zoo! Humboldt Penguins are a very vulnerable species in South America, and it's awesome to see the Roger Williams Park Zoo join up with the Species Survival Plan to ensure that this species is able to survive in great numbers! Let's take a look at their new habitat together and see what's new at the zoo!
