In this video i test out the Grand Prix mode in the Midas PS2 game called Penny Racers. In this mode the game tries to take on a sort of Vrally method by making you unlock different classes and compete in a set path of races in order to progress. I gives us a nice menu system that has a lot of options to choose from and plenty of upgrades and unlockables. Its been quite well thought out and theres plenty of replay value here.
The game itself has a more PS1 game look to it as opposed to PS2. The graphics are simple but if it had of been developed further then this game could of been a big competitor in the racing game genre.
Its a game thats cheap as chips, so i recommend grabbing a copy if you spot one.
