Another classic SHMUP for the Sony Ps2. This time i test out Mobile Light Force by XS Games and developed by Taito.
Its not a game that tests the Playstations power, but it definately packs some hardcore coin op action. And unlike most ps2 SHMUPS, this one limits you to lives & continues, meaning your not going to simply drift through this one. A lot of practice is needed to complete this game so its one that hardcore fans may want to check out.
The controls work fine and the backgrounds are really nicely designed adding a 3d feel to the game. The only downfall is the sprites could of been enlarged a bit more. Other than that its a very tough, but great game to own.
