MSCONFIG - Advanced - Memory limit to : (If you change it by entering a number here, the "MaxPhysPage" value in the C:\WINDOWS\system.ini file will change (the number of pages. You must enter it in hexadecimal. The capacity per page is 4KB. 4KB x number of pages (hexadecimal) = memory capacity limit).
Many Windows 98 memory-related articles tell you to change the MaxPhysPage value, but you don't have to calculate it and modify it in the System.ini file. You can just enter it in decimal MB in MSCONFIG).
vcache limit = 128MB. vchache is disk cache. Think of it as the Windows version of DOS's Smartdrv.

The numbers are capacity in KB. 128MB x 1024 = 130172KB.
A suitable vcache size is about 1/4 of the memory.
For Windows 98 stability, the memory limit and vcache size should not exceed 512 MB.
If you have a 512MB graphics card, try setting the memory limit lower.
Monitor : Max 1920 x 1200 LCD (Aspect Ratio : Full , Auto , 4:3 Mode Support). Supports HDMI and D-sub input. Connect the DVI output of the Radeon X800 GTO with a DVI to HDMI cable.
Unlike the Radeon 9600 and 9550 (Geforce 7300 GT AGP), the Radeon X800 GTO may not display the DOS (and BIOS) screen depending on the monitor when outputting via DVI (Radeon Monitor compatibility issues).
D-sub output works fine in DOS. If the DOS screen is not displayed via DVI connection, try changing the monitor. Or, connect both the D-sub and DVI to the monitor and switch between the DOS and Windows screens.
This system can output up to 1920x1200 with DVI on Windows. It's not a problem with the cable or DVI itself. Check out the Radeon X800 GTO video linked below (Ctrl+click or open in new tab). The last part is in 1920x1200 resolution. If you're thinking of buying a Radeon X800, beware.

There is noise in the sound because I captured the DVI display output and analog sound output.
