Penumbra: Overture - Speedrun/Walkthrough (1/3)
35Cool game. I did this all in one take (had to upload in 3 parts), and this is only the 3rd or 4th time I've played this, so there are some screwups here and there.
Notes on Part 1:
A. The electric fence. Yeah I screwed up, but I knew I wouldn't need pills in the latter half of the game, so I decided just to grin and bear it.
B. The ladder in the power generator room. On Easy and Normal modes, I can jump straight down in to the pit, grab onto the ladder at the last second, and cut another ~7 seconds off the length... Hard mode would not allow me to do this, so don't bust my balls about playing it safe there.
I apologize for the shitty quality of this speedrun. For some reason, Fraps would cause the game to crash (works fine with all my other games) so I had to resort to using the WeGame client to record it, resulting in some minor graphical ugliness, some REALLY dark parts, some weird motion blurring, and low frame rate.
