Penumbra Overture | The end | #13
4I never thought it would end like this...
In the final episode of the Penumbra Overture series, we traverse our way down that creepy corridor we ended at last episode.
MY THOUGHTS: Penumbra Overture was an absolutely amazing game and I honestly can't wait to go and play Black plague. The story was amazing, the atmosphere was spot on and I found very few problems with the game. A few puzzles in the game definitely managed to stump me to the point that I had to refer to a guide/wiki but these difficult puzzles were few and far apart. I also found that with the flashlight battery mechanic there is honestly no point in using the flashlight after you get the chem-light since the brightness is just slightly less powerful. The graphics are also dated however, but I'm not going to hang that on this game since it is a dated title, and even for it's time, the graphics aren't half bad. Despite these minor issues with the game it was overall a very fun and enjoyable play-through, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 7. The game is enjoyable and you will have fun but it is nothing absolutely spectacular.
