Salt-N-Pepa's Pepa has been hit with a $676,675 lien over allegedly failing to pay a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon for removing her butt injections.
Dr. David Sayah filed the lien as part of Pepa's lawsuit against Uber over a car accident she was involved in. If Pepa, whose real name is Sandra Denton, receives a financial reward in her lawsuit, Dr. Sayah seeks to collect the money.
Pepa reportedly sought the doctor's expertise to remove her butt injections after a car crash in July 2018. The Hip Hop pioneer claimed the car accident caused her injections to shift, which led to her experiencing pain.
Last year, Dr. Sayah was sued by Pepa after she accused the doctor of pressuring her into multiple butt surgeries and botching them. While the original plan was to remove the injections, Pepa was allegedly convinced to replace them with smaller injections and receive liposuction. According to Pepa, the procedures caused her to have more corrective surgeries after her butt hardened.
In her lawsuit, Pepa claimed she will need more surgery and will likely suffer from the injuries for the rest of her life. Pepa's lawsuit remains ongoing.
