The boss fight with the Pensieve Guardian in the Percival Rackhams trial quest was really hard (at least for me) I drank a lot of Wigginweld potion to get through it. There is a trick though when he casts that ball to throw a you if you hit him with a spell of the same color it stuns him for a bit and he takes more damage, I just didn't time my spell casts right. Also a couple of quests to get more spell training from Professor Kogawa.
