Perfect Dark was one of my favorite games to play on the Nintendo 64 when I was a teenager, and everything about it was a memorable experience, from the story, to the gameplay, and of course the music!

At the time that this game was released, X-Files was still a popular show on television, and the influence is obvious, both on the game's plot, and the ambient, synth driven music. For me, the main menu theme is the stand out composition in the game, so I wanted to try my hand at remixing it!

My arrangement features a distorted guitar for the melody, has an all new drum pattern, a new bass harmony, and a theremin to add to the sci-fi atmosphere of the theme. I was going for something aggressive, yet haunting, and I'm not sure that I succeeded, but I sure had fun remixing this music! I hope you all have even more fun listening!
