"All we have is the name."
A rearrangement of the music in the first level of the N64 game Perfect Dark. This arrangement was created in LMMS.

Original game composers:
Grant Kirkhope
Graeme Norgate
David Clynick

I chose to interpret one section of the song as having glitchy 8-bit sounds to it, which I felt worked with what DataDyne is in the game and because the original sounds sort of like 8-bit sounds run through a low-pass filter.

Some samples were extracted from the game using N64 Sound Tool. The original midi files were used as a base; they were extracted using N64 Midi Tool.

Soundfonts and plugins used:
Phoenix GS GM2 (main percussion)
Roland JV-1010 volume fixed (low strings, glockenspiel)
Korg AG-10 (choir)
Jam With the Band P. soundfont (NES sound waves)
ColomboGMGS2 (percussion - Defection X)
GoldenEye 007 soundfont (synth - Defection X)
Arachno SoundFont (Reverse cymbal, crash cymbal)
LB302 (main synth)
Nescaline (noise)
