"Shut down the experiment."
A rearrangement of the music in the second part of the first level of the N64 game Perfect Dark. This arrangement was created in LMMS.

Original game composers:
Grant Kirkhope
Graeme Norgate
David Clynick

Keeping with the theming I applied to the first DataDyne piece, I made an 8-bit glitchy sound to part of the "alert" track. Otherwise, it's essentially the same track as in the game.

I initially wanted to add an audio visualizer, but that made render times longer than it should've been.

Some samples were extracted from the game using N64 Sound Tool. The original midi files were used as a base; they were extracted using N64 Midi Tool.

Soundfonts and plugins used:
Arachno SoundFont (Jazz guitar with chorus and phaser, reverse cymbal, crash cymbal)
LB302 (Main synth)
GoldenEye 007 soundfont (Percussion - main segment, synth bass)
Roland JV-1010 (Strings)
ColomboGMGS2 (Percussion - Investigation X, piano)
Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra (Snare drum, glockenspiel)
Just T4 (French horns)
Jam With the Band P. soundfont (NES sound waves)
sfxr (Noise)
