Preparation: All you need is a single Phillips head screwdriver—no security bits required!
Disassembly: Remove the back screws (don't forget the two lower screws!) and the three screws holding the analog stick module.
Removal: Carefully disconnect the ribbon cable and the Z-button trigger assembly. Pull out your old, problematic stick.
