23Persona 3 FES is an extended version of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, and was released in Japan in April 2007. This extension included both the original game which was named, "The Journey", while also containing an epilogue called, "The Answer". We will be playing both the main game and the epilogue in this Persona 3 FES playthrough, as we explore all aspects of the story. Persona 3 FES was released for the PlayStation 2 and re-released in the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. Other versions include Persona 3 Portable which was released for the PlayStation Vita. Ports of Persona 3 Portable have been announced as part of the Persona 25th Anniversary from Atlus, bringing the game to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and XBox One and Series X/S.
Persona 3 FES follows the story of Makoto Yuki, a high school student who arrives to attend school at Gekkoukan High School. During his first days, he notices that not is all as it seems as strange occurrences plague the city of Iwatodai in a Dark Hour that happens every night around midnight. In the hopes of investigating these mysterious events, Makoto joins a small group of students known as the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S). This group is composed of gifted individuals who have the ability to summon Personas to combat Shadows, vile creatures bent on causing grave harm to all human beings aware of themselves during the dark hour. Will Makoto and the rest of his companions be able to uncover the mysteries of the Dark Hour and save humanity?
