Persona 3 Reload - Shinjiro | Part 21
4Game hits us with 3 new party members all in the same month. The last one is Shinjiro. I'd have waited until he joined to go Tartarus exploring in the last part, especially since new rescue quests show up as soon as he joins, but you have no way of predicting that other than just already knowing. And it's like 4 days before the time limit too.
Anyways, Shinjiro is similar to Aigis in that he's a purely physical attacker. He hits hard and has access to AoE attacks, so he's great for quickly clearing out enemy groups and making Tartarus exploration nice and easy. He has a unique skill called Bloody Charge, which raises his Crit chance and damage of the next physical attack he does. It even drains his HP to use it, so his MP really is just for show. I think the attack buff is less than regular Charge, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's really strong. It can pair with his Theurgy too, buffing those with Charge/Concentrate can really make them deal a lot of damage. Shinjiro is a purely selfish character, so he doesn't have any support abilities or really anything to help allies in any way. He also doesn't have any weaknesses. Just a really solid beatstick of a party member. He's also my favorite character in this game.
