Persona Q2 - Reaper Turn 1 Link Kill Redone (Risky)
I haven't really been feeling EO so a "rehab" video that's easy enough to do.
This is a retake of the old video, using different setting and an actual "Linker" character, since P3MC's passive is only for magic and I wasn't aware of that at the time of recording that. I also wanted most~all damage to come from the Link, rather than 20% from Empyrean Storm, which is why you don't see that getting uses here.
A side note: Ken could easily do this himself as well. With all the stat-boosting equipment, they both reach 93 St at level 99 (though Ken has better Ag and Lu), but Ken needs more fusing because he doesn't come with Infinite Link.
The stat bonus passives actually do stack and we could push St to 99. I did in fact do that as well, but it turns out that that couple points of St doesn't actually make much difference and I'm more at mercy of damage variation, so I decided to just use Resist Curse in its place to save on Homunculus. In fact, I'm not sure if I need the stat passive at all because that was still doing ~555 damage, although I guess the damage range would be in my favour if I did push the stat higher. I have a slot for it so whatever.
I was originally going to have Kanji tank so that I get safe 8 procs out, but I realized that the Reaper always seem to just do Mamudoon + normal attack, so the worst case like here we just get hit in the back row on Heaven's Blade user and still get 8 procs total (2 from front, 6 from the back). With bad damage roll on Linker I could be slightly short of damage - around few hundreds, which I could compensate if I actually improve damage from others like using ranged attackers in the back like Aigis and properly leveled Subpersona and such.
Is this practical? Fusion-wise, not particularly (although Linker + tank + 2 hit + 2 hit + Death Chaser idea itself is viable from the start to the end and is practical). Is this fun? I think so. PQ/PQ2's Links feel better than EO4/EOX's Link in that I don't need a buff to hit more times, so it's definitely less clunky.
