This is a personal project I have over my summer breaks from school. I make a list of characters to add to the posterboard, then try to add them in a way that is logical, preferably with another character. They evolved over the years (This is my 9th one, and the only recorded one so far) and always consist of 4 parts. I sped it up so it's less boring. I recommend listening to music or something while it plays with another tab open.

History behind these projects:
Originally inspired by the idea of crossovers, my first exposure to the idea, and the basis for the first 7 posterboards being Smash Bros. Skits and character combos became less forced and more logical as I matured (I was like 13ish when I made the first one). Eventually, I got tired of just doing Smash Bros. characters and Nintendo's lineup. Starting with the 8th posterboard, I stopped using Nintendo characters since I had gotten tired of feeling obligated to keep that part of the tradition, instead expanding to every other game out there. It was a much needed change of pace.

My personal rules on the 9th posterboard project:
-1 character per game franchise (I can't use both Crash and Coco at the same time, for example. This would be unfair since I have obvious biases)
-Limit solo skits to 0 (They're boring)
-Try to connect dots as best as possible (I want the skit to make sense and not feel like everyone's there for the sake of being there)
-Try to add as many characters to a skit as you can (It makes the skit feel more lively and like everyone's more connected)
-Each background has 1 background character (I went a little overboard and over-represented the games that had backgrounds in the 8th posterboard)
-Have fun (If it's not, then why bother?)

Skit times (explanations in the video):
0:00 - Skit 17: The Damsel in Distress (Grey Knight from Castle Crashers, Giulia from the Count Lucanor, and Princess Fillet from Brave Fencer Musashi)
8:19 - Skit 14: Not Starving (Wilson from Don't Starve, Abigail from Stardew Valley, and a Tyrannomon from Digimon)
19:23 - Skit 12: Bomb Creation (Warren from Life is Strange, and Plague Knight from Shovel Knight)
26:11 - Skit 20: Time Twisting (Coco from Crash Bandicoot, Lita from Breath of Death VII, Wren from Costume Quest, Scaler from Scaler, Sans from Undertale, and Raziel from The Legacy of Kain)
49:22 - Paris Background (Sly Cooper)

I'm not showing the cutting part again.

I get asked this all of the time, so I'll answer it here. This is free-handed with pencils, markers, and pens. I hate tracing because it's not fun to me. I keep an image of the character nearby so I can reduce design errors and scaling issues. No I do not use a ruler. I just wish my camera was of better quality...
