39This Space Engineers mod showcase video is on the Personal Shield Generator, a little workshop item that sits in your inventory and keeps you safe from harm - for a short amount of time. Its very useful for attacking pirate or enemy bases in PvP as it can nullify a couple of shots allowing you to get close and assault the base. It will not save you from enemy ships!

"This mod adds an item that will generate an energy shield that will protect the player while the item is in the player inventory.
This item is great for reducing damage from minor impacts and a few bullets. Explosions and high velocity impacts are still often lethal.
How It Works:
- When the player adds the 'Personal Shield Generator' item to their inventory, it will begin to charge.
- The shield generator will consume 1% of your suit energy per second until it is fully charged.
- To fully charge the shield generator, it will draw about 50% of your suit energy.
- Multiple shield generators in player inventory will NOT have an accumulative effect (they don't stack)"
