PES 2019 MyClub RTG #1 | Getting Started! (PS4)
A walkthrough of what to expect when you start your #PES2019 MyClub, Konami's version of EA's FIFA Ultimate Team. This is from the Standard Edition.
Played six games in vs. COM mode on Regular difficulty level, while opening up various agents to build up my starter squad.
Gameplay (initial impressions): PES 2019 feels more like a simulation compared to FIFA’s arcade style of play. Newer players will need to adapt to its slower pace & play smarter when it comes to advancing forward. You’ll also need to pay more attention to your team’s stamina this year compared to PES 18, as fatigued players are actually harder to control over the course of a match.
The biggest difference between PES 2019 & 2018 is in the dribbling & ball handling. Controls are tighter this year for a much more realistic feel, unlike in 2018 where the game resembled more like ice hockey instead of football. However, shooting, manual defending, OP AI defending & crossing doesn’t seem to have changed much; then again I wasn’t able to fully test the mechanics during this run at such a low difficulty setting.
Looking forward to test this game at higher difficulty levels & especially online. Here’s hoping to more dedicated servers this year.
NOTE: All the licensed team badges & kits that aren’t included in the game (such as Manchester United & Spurs) were obtained via paid membership at PESUniverse.com
