In this video, we revisit Gamescom 2024 in Cologne! What was good, what was bad? How can you have a better time at Gamescom next year? This video builds on my experiences from several days at Gamescom 2024 during which I visited both the Entertainment and the Business Area as well as (almost) all other places of interest. It is, however, not meant as a comprehensive Gamescom review or a deep dive into all its events and features. I simply wanted to share a few of my thoughts and leave you with a couple of ideas on how to improve your visit to Gamescom next time.

Gamescom is the world's largest gaming event held annually in Cologne, Germany. The event is used by video game developers and publishers to exhibit upcoming games and hardware and it is frequented by over 300.000 visitors per year. Next to the public entertainment areas where the latest gaming trends are presented to the masses, Gamescom also offers a closed area for professional visitors, such as publishers, journalists, creators and viedo game developers.
