Peter Pan & Wendy was released on Disney plus a couple of days ago and I thought I would check it out. Based off the trailer I had very little expectation. It is exactly what I expected. Peter Pan & Wendy is a modern Disney classic, ticking off all of the checklist boxes for a modern Disney movie: Female empowerment, even at the determent to their original character development, forced diversity that adds nothing to the movie as its just window dressing and the characters do not get any development, making the male lead a sidekick in his own movie, and above all, just being a boring and drab movie that is unlikely to appeal to anyone.
