Peterborough Station 30/10/2007 Part 2
0This is the second part of the three part video that I did of Peterborough Station back in October 2007 which was two years ago when GNER and Central Trains were still in operation. This part of the video continues on with a GNER 225 bound for London Kings Cross via Stevenage and the Class 91 on the rear is named "Queen Elizabeth II" although I hope no idea what number it was - sorry. Next up we have a Class 170 three car Turbostar in full Central Trains livery and is numbered 170636 which pulls into Platform 5 which forms the 13:54 Central Trains service for Birmingham New Street which takes 1 hour and 50 mins from Peterborough. Then 66114 in EWS livery brings a freight train into the waiting point adjacent to Platform 5 where it then pauses for a few hours, and then 170636 powers up and departs Peterborough for Birmingham New Street which the next station will be Stamford. Next, a GNER 225 set pulls into Platform 4 with a service bound for Leeds with DVT 82229 on the rear of this train. A First Capital Connect Class 365 "Networker" numbered 365517 pulls into Platform 3 with a service from London Kings Cross later followed by a passing Class 222 "Pioneer" along the through lines with a two tone horn. Then a Class 170 Turbostar in Central Trains ex-Midland Mainline livery numbered 170114 leaves Platform 4 with a service bound for either Norwich or Stansted Airport via Cambridge with a 365 leaving in the background. Next up another GNER 225 pulls into Platform 4 with a service for Newcastle. Another Central Trains liveried Class 170 Turbostar numbered 170518 pulls into Platform 5 with a service for Liverpool Lime Street. Then the GNER 225 departs Platform 4 which is shortly followed by 170518 which then leaves Platform 5. Then a swift introduction of 66585 which is continued in Part 3 of this video.
