Peterborough Train Station Featuring 60163 "Tornado" Steam Locomotive 16/02/2009
A little something different and its not everyday that you see a classic steamer on the East Coast Main Line. On this day, I managed to film for the first time is the Class A1 "Tornado" Steam Locomotive that has been resurrected from the dead and rebuilt from scratch. This is the first steam locomotive that has been built recently for 50 years ago when the majority of trains were steam and the Diesels were just coming into existance while many of them were just prototypes at that point. The rest of the trains in this video are Class 170's by Cross Country Trains, Class 153's and 158's by East MIdlands Trains, Class 317's and 365's by First Capital Connect, Class 91's and 43 HST's by National Express East Coast and a Class 180 (with an ear-drum busting horn) by First Hull Trains. Many Thanks to all that attended and a special thanks to 2TEG for making the day fun.
