PGA Tour Season 4 Injury System Setup.

Overview - We are going to introduce an injury system into our PGA Tour Season 4. This will give us the possibility of hitting at reduced power and therefore struggle to make a decent score by reducing our length making Par 5 unreachable and in the worst of the injuries the longer Par 4’s a struggle too.

-Items needed - 3 dice, Pen or Pencil, Notepad or paper, Or simply a method to keep track of your F/G hits

Fairways/Greens Hit Count -

-So at the start of the opening round we will roll one dice this will determine how many and the difficulty of our F/G Hit Count tally.

Roll 4-6 = Re-roll

Roll 1 - use 1 dice (1-6) Easy
Roll 2 - use 2 dice (2-12) Medium
Roll 3 - use 3 dice (3-18) Hard

Once you have got how many dice you must roll you then roll that difficulty to determine your F/G Count (Fairways/Greens). This is the number of Fairways and Greens you must hit to avoid injury. MUST be fairway and greens no fringe or first cut. So once we have our F/G count we then play our round keeping note of our tally.

e.g., So we roll our first dice and we get a 2, so we now roll 2 dice to determine our F/G count and we roll 9. So we must hit 9 or more Fairways/Greens to avoid injury if not this will be how we get injured -

9 or more = no injury
8 = Minor Injury
7 = Medium Injury
6 and less = Major injury

We would then play our 2nd round with either injury free or play with the injury we got and for the rest of that tournament.

Major Injury would last for 3 Tournaments

-Tournament we are playing in Major Injury then next Tournament would be Medium Injury and the next one after that would be Minor Injury then after that we would be fully fit and would then roll the dice to start the process all over again.

This would be the same for a Medium Injury would last 2 Tournaments and would then become a Minor Injury for the next tournament and so on . . . . . .

**************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Ok so onto the Injury system and how we implement this into our game. We simply use the Attribute Settings and the In the Bag settings. And the club settings will replace our Driver and 3 wood or the first two slots of your longest clubs.

Minor Injury - Balanced, Power, Houdini, Shot Maker
5 wood, 2 Iron

Medium Injury - Balanced, Precision, Houdini, Shot Maker
3 Hybrid, 2 Iron

Major Injury - Ultraprecision, Finesse, Houdini, Shot Maker
4 Hybrid, 6 Hybrid

Ok you can change any of the attribute settings you like BUT the strength must not exceed the numbers below -

Minor - Strength 85
Medium - Strength 75
Major - Strength 65

**************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Ok so this is ongoing and i will start playing these settings in my Season 4 Pro Tour. We may change or tweet some settings if it proves too difficult but we will see.

Enjoy Darren McCall
