This is the cave where you get the elusive Iron Claw(TM) for the cat.In the Sega Master System,you could get into this cave early,however in this version, you needed to defeat the dragon first (and get the key).
This is an optional dungeon,but considerng the money in here from the chests, it is defintely worth it (and pretty much necessary).
