Phantasy Star 4 Boss 17: Dark Force 3 THE RECKONING!
0The final battle with Dark Force is definitely the hardest. He has a fairly wide array of attacks with everything Seth can do at his disposal. I would say it is a simple throw your buffs up and go crazy but you're going to need to reapply them frequently as he can negate them or debuff you. Make sure you keep your agility buffed otherwise life becomes much harder. Other than that his attacking moves primarily consist of a strong physical attack than can likely one shot rune and possibly Rika and Chaz should it have a high damage roll. It also has corrosion which is far more dangerous than light shower was despite not being extremely deadly against Wren. This fight is fairly straightforward but it is still hard because of his deadly moves on top of being the strongest boss stats wise (aside from the final boss) and the most powerful version of dark force in the original tetralogy. On top of that you don't have a complete party for this boss fight. One small mercy is the game actually allowing you to save after running through the dungeon but before facing the boss because that stretch of land between the temple and Cave is counted as a safe zone of sorts.
