Phantasy Star IV: Endgame Bosses
0It occurred to me that the 4 major endgame optional bosses have some sort of connection to each major game in the series which is neat.
Servant Hunters: Difficulty 1.1/10 So this fight is a little weird as it's one you need to take on before dark falz III to avoid being locked out of Vahal fort. That's why Seth is inexplicably here. As for the fight itself it's super easy the only minute difficulty they have is ambushing you
Daughter: Difficulty 4/10 A reference to phantasy Star 2? Neat. Unfortunately since Daughter doesn't have a boss form herself and instead just controls a couple regular enemies they're all susceptible to instant death making this fight too easy. I definitely wish this boss had another phase where she turned into something like Mother Brain.
Death Bearer and Leviathan are the strongest remaining vehicle enemies.
King Rappy: Difficulty 5/10 This fight is either super easy because he just sits there and lets you hit him... or he spams earthquake which is really freaking dangerous. This boss is the throwback to phantasy star 3.
Prophallus: Difficulty 6/10* So this fight is different as it doesn't have a set spawn point instead it's like the warmech where it has a random chance of attacking you within the final dungeon. The fight itself is literally just Phantasy Star 1s final boss so a fairly large health pool and only single target attacks.
Alys: Difficulty EMOTIONAL DAMAGE/10 her last breath only plays when Alys reaches the end of her life... and unfortunately this time we must be the one to bring it.
