Another unique aspect about this game compared to other NIS games is that when they are defeated characters are not removed from the board. This means that are not out of the battle and can be revived by a healer mid-battle. (and that's also why I didn't get an immediate game over after my little failure a couple videos ago. Although the game ends if Marona dies, if she hasn't been removed from the board and if there are still phantoms alive you can continue, and if you manage to defeat the enemies before they are removed it still counts as a victory) Interestingly enough this also means that can also pick up dead characters and use them as impromptu (if rather morbid) weapons.
