PHASMOPHOBIA | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
95Originally I wanted to do this video for Halloween, but our squad of Ghost Hunters were not able to always join up together in order to identify ghosts.
Phasmophobia is a game I absolutely adore. I remember when it first came out and how original it was.
It actually is one of those games that changed a genre of games and thereby creating its own sub-genre. Nowadays there are tons of Phasmophobia clones and games inspired by it. That is why its all the more important that we immortalize Phasmophobia by archiving it on the channel.
The premise is simple. Me and my friends are heading to various locations that are haunted. We will have multiple gadgets at our exposal in order to identify and pinpoint what kind of ghost is haunting the place.
There are around 30 different ghost types to choose from, so the challenge is to narrow it down by picking up on hints. Some ghosts like to throw things around while others are shy and will not communicate with us, unless there is only one person in the room. Other ghosts are faster when the temperature is lower and yet another type feeds off electrical equipment.
When I was filming the video I wasn't sure if this format would work as I do non-commentary and this game relies heavily on communication with your team. Whenever one person picks up a hint or a piece of evidence it is important to share that with the rest of the team. That might be a bit difficult to portray through this format, but I did my best communicate visually what the hints are and when and where they were found.
We start off the video with the weakest equipment and work our way up to higher difficulties and better equipment. Ironically since you start the game with the worst equipment, it can be argued that the game actually starts out more difficult and becomes easier, the further you get. Usually its the other way around.
Nevertheless I still adore Phasmophobia and hope to return in the future when bigger updates have dropped.
