This is a short video demonstrating the hybrid action system of Phoenix Point. Phoenix point is being developed by Snapshot Games and headed up by Snapshot's CEO, Julian Gollop. Julian Gollop was the creator of the original X-Com game in 1994, and Phoenix Point is very much the spiritual successor. Phoenix Point has already been in development for a year, and at the time of this video has achieved over $700,000 of a $500,000 goal on crowd funding site, fig.co - https://www.fig.co/campaigns/phoenix-point

Many aspects of the Phoenix Point gameplay shown in this video are placeholder. It is worth noting that this build of the game is still at least 18+ months away from completion, and only shows a very small bite sized piece of the game to give an impression of what to expect. Many game mechanics are not implemented in this buy, lots of animations are missing or placeholder.
