Yep, you can now get this on iOS as of yesterday, and for a MUCH cheaper price.
Not only that, the visuals looks EXTREMELY nice, even on TV if you have the adapter I use to hook it up to the television!
Either way, I'll have to admit that this may be the better version to get if you have both a 3DS and an iOS device, as cheaper plus better graphics, and all of the same features pretty much gives it to the iOS device.
Only downside besides battery life which... can be an issue with most iOS games... is unlike the HD versions of the trilogy, you can NOT flip it vertically to reveal a second screen, but that's just nitpicking compared to everything that can be done.
