In this part, Phoenix cross-examines Ron's second (and final) piece of testimony, about the time of the murder. Ron reveals that he went to the murder scene, disguised as Mask DeMasque. Ron also mentions that he stuffed the dead body into the safe, which is highly suspicious. Ron claims a third person was in the office at the time, and that person knocked Ron unconscious.
Phoenix brings up the fact that the buzzer inside the CEO's Office was sounded two minutes after the murder. Why is this the case, and who sounded the buzzer? Phoenix concludes that Ron was unconscious when the buzzer sounded, otherwise, he would have left the office to avoid being caught by security. It couldn't have been Kane who sounded the buzzer, because no fingerprints are on the buzzer. The real culprit must have sounded the buzzer, in order to summon security to the scene, in an attempt to frame Ron.
