In this part, Phoenix points out the flaw in Atmey's final testimony: he has no way of knowing that Ron DeLite was wearing the Mask DeMasque costume at the scene on the crime, unless he (Atmey) was at the scene of the crime also. Atmey then confesses, and Ron is found innocent of all charges.

Phoenix speaks with Mia for a bit about Maya, before Mia leaves. Ron is worried that his wife will break up with him because he is really Mask DeMasque, but she ends up forgiving him.
