Piano - Music from Lost (Part 7)
18With the final season of LOST here, I thought I should share my love for the musical score, composed by Michael Giacchino.
The long 7th part is here, and we a whole bunch of Lost themes in this one :)
I focused on themes related to the latest Lost episode, "Sundown". I start with the Sayid/Nadia theme from season 4, which moves into a quick version of the 'adventure' theme. From there I slyyyly move into one of my favourite new themes form Season 6, that being the slower Temple theme.
Then I switch focus to Claire, because she's all kinds of crazy (awesome). First comes the Claire theme from way back in season 1, based off of the track "We're Friends".
...Unfortunately, it seems her friends now consist of her dead father, evil incarnate, and squirrel baby.
Next up comes a bit of "Catch a Falling Star", which transitions into the most amazing, creepy, and ominous Catch a Falling Star, based on the end of "Sundown".
Finally, I end off with the same piece "Sundown" does - I think it's the MIB/Smokey theme but I'm not positive. Whatever it is, it's awesome :P
