In this video, I will review the Wolvic XR browser, and show you some of its most important features. Wolvic is a free and open-source VR/XR browser that opens a portal to the Web and all it has to offer, including immersive games, videos, and environments built for XR.

This version is still in beta and may have some bugs, but it can be used for casual browsing. The download size is only 100 MB, and the APK file has been recompiled from the GitHub sources, because none of the official APK files currently work on the Pico 4. If you were waiting for a feature-rich browser capable of handling multiple tabs side by side, then I recommend this one. After all, it's free and doesn't cost you anything!

➤ UPDATE:
The new 1.3 version compatible with Pico 4 was just released! You can find the updated links above. Note that after installation, the app shortcut will be placed in the "Unknown" section of My Library. The keyboard issue from the 1.2 beta version explained below is gone, and now there is also hand-tracking support added! For a full list of changes introduced in the new 1.3 version, check out Wolvic's blog post (also linked above).

➤ Keyboard issue (v1.2 beta!):
It seems that some of us have issues with the virtual keyboard. The problem is that the keyboard is displayed on one part of the screen, but it receives keyboard input from another part of the screen. A temporary workaround would be to try to move your controller pointer across the screen, and watch carefully when keys on the keyboard get highlighted (note that your pointer could be on the other side of the screen!). Then try to pinpoint one little "drag" icon in the keyboard's upper left corner, and move the keyboard all the way down, or up, depending on where it works.

Once you set up your screens, and position your keyboard the way it works, it will continue to work until you reorganize your screens again. That's the only workaround I found, but remember, the app is still in beta, and issues like that are to be expected. A new/final version 1.3 will be released soon, and I'll do a follow-up video as soon as that happens.
